Omni Explosion Proof

The Omni Eye Explosion Proof Video Inspection Camera contains all solid state circuitry

An automatic on screen over voltage protection indicator is provided to inform the operator if at any time the voltage is excessive at the camera. A color bar generator located within the camera allows the operator to check or adjust the color hue and intensity from the viewing station. Lamp intensity, lens focus, iris aperture, camera head rotation and swing can be remotely controlled and adjustable from the viewing station.

The camera is designed to withstand the rigorous environment of sanitary sewers and storm drains. It is designed to withstand the shocks and vibrations normally sustained while traveling through a perforated pipeline. It has an operating temperature range of zero to 50° Centigrade, and is sealed to withstand external pressures of up to 50 psi without leakage.

The Omni Eye Explosion Proof Camera can be transported through pipelines either on skids or mounted on an optional Explosion Proof Tractor Transport Vehicle.

A self sealing pressure test port is provided at the camera back for checking the leak resistance of the camera.

LENS 6mm F/1.4 that provides a 70° field of view Camera lens is sealed into the head of the camera and is protected from the environment by a distortion free optical sapphire window
Lens is separated from the light windows to prevent reflected lamplight from entering the lens

INTEGRATED LIGHTS Two 25 -Watt 14-Volt halogen lamps are sealed into the head of the camera Power Consumption: 50-Watts maximum Illumination: 104 mscp (1319 lumens) Lamp Life: 200 hours Color Temperature: 2200°K to 3000°K Power is derived from a power supply located inside the camera A distortion free optical sapphire window protects both Lamps are field replaceable

LAMP & CAMERA POWER Camera power, control signal, and video signal are passed through a double armored, single conductor cable that is wired into a specially designed connector configuration. Power to the camera is regulated by the Omni Eye Explosion Proof Camera's internal power supply Camera's power supply limits the lighting power regardless of the voltage setting at the controller
